CEFIRSF THERMOCOUPLE WIRE CERAMIC FIBER INSULATED 1204°C

   Designed for extreme temperature applications. Ceramic fiber is braided on the individual conductors and the jacket giving a continuous temperature rating of 2200°F (1204°C). 

   The ceramic fiber is flexible throughout the extended temperature range.

   The high temperature limit of CEFIR allows it to be used in areas where bead-ed ceramic thermocouples or sheathed thermocouples were previously specified. CEFIR is available with or without saturant or tracers.

 

  Conductors : solid or stranded thermocouple wire per ASTM E230 & ANSI MC96.1

  Insulation : braided ceramic fiber

  Construction : parallel conductors

  Jacket : braided ceramic fiber

  Operating temperature : conforms to ASTM E230, IEC 584 and ANSI MC 96.1

  Color code : supplied white without saturants or colored tracers

  Temperature continuous use : up to 1204°C (2200°F)

  Temperature Single exposure : up to 1316°C (2400°F)

  CEFIRSF version : heavy build

  Good abrasion resistance
